Do you know his exact date of birth?

Even though it states wife Fanny is a widow on her probate, wondering about this one.....

This looks about the right time for his birth date as he is 7 months old on 1891 census BUT it means that Fanny Grace was not a widow when she died in 1939 ??

:-D :-D

What are we looking for? What ever happened to Percy Taylor b 1890.

The 1911 census is ok, but after then? The one living with Florence might be a possibility.
Chris - he could have died in WW1. Who knows?

Aw gawd - how many are there? His birth was reg 3rd quarter, so possibly too early for him. Thank you for looking Maddie.

I'd hoped the 1939 register would have been conclusive, but it seems not to be.

Forgotten about that AustinQ & the address sounds familiar from the 1939. Other family members may have been living there.

Although people did change occupations, would Percy have swapped from a Silk warper to an Assurance agent as per the household with Florence?

This is doing me 'ead in!

AustinQ

AustinQ Report 3 Mar 2016 19:37

Doesn't seem a likely change of occupation !! I'll take a better look tomorrow if no-one has found the answer.
