Anyway, after all that, who is it that you relate back to with this variant of Surnames?...

I am the great great grandson of Henry 1830 and Elizabeth 1834 Hanenberger.

I am still inclined to think that there are 2 families with the head of household as a Henry and Catherine Hanenburger / Hanberger.

This is because of when the children have been registered, the mothers maiden name has been given as Langwasser (or its various spellings) or Berndes (or its various spellings)

So I think there is one family Henry and Catherine nee Langwasser and another family Henry and Catherine nee Berndes.

I have not yet been able to piece together all the information to see who goes where.

Hello

Thanks for all your help yesterday. If I am going to accept that this is Elizabeth's family in 1871

Plumbers Row, Mile End Old Town, London, England
Henry Handburger Head - Male 44 1827 - Germany
Catherine Handburger Wife - Female 35 1836 - Germany
Henry Handburger Son - Male 13 1858 - Germany
henry is a skin dyer

Where are the rest of the family in 1871
Elizabeth born 1861 in Whitechapel
Peter born 1869 in Whitechapel

With 1871 taken April 2nd, wouldn't have been long before Birth of Margaret, and from the 1881 you posted earlier John is missing also...

Have you got any Birth Certs.?...

Chris :)

Yes John is also missing.

I have Margarets birth cert she is born 12 July 1871 and mother Catherine is living at 9 Plumbers Row (the address on the 1871 census)

So where are the 3 missing children? 4 if Peter is also related.

Chris Ho :) Report 3 Feb 2017 15:49

Well beginning to think quite a few children from both families in Plumbers Row 1871, reckon they lost count of who was there and wasn't, lol...

Phew!...
