You have helped me to find J C's father, which was my original aim, but also you have provided much additional information to add to my tree, including his second marriage, which I previously knew nothing about. Also, I think I now may have found J C's grandfather (who, if I have it right, is Peter BUTTERY) and his mother, Jane CAMPBELL. Regards and Best Wishes, Eric
