Hi, I’m trying to find Michael David Hunt born 1936 .His brother was Peter Jeffrey Hunt born 1939 .Their Mother’s maiden surname was Levy.Their Father was Matthew Thomas Hunt born 1907.I am really keen to find Michael and/or his relatives .I think he may be in the South of England/South East .He is my second cousin .
It would be really good to hear from him or his relatives.I appreciate any help or information .

If you find the daughters birth and search member trees just using her first name/surname there are only a few results - one being a member called Simon. He also has the 2 brothers and the mother in his tree - could be worth trying to make contact with him for further information.

I knew sadly about Peters death ?? ,so sad .The information regarding Alton and relatives there is correct as I’m from there .I started doing the family tree and ancestry stuff about 4 years ago with my Dad as he could remember a lot and was very interested in it all,family meant everything to my Dad.We were doing the research together .Sadly my darling Dad passed away in 2016 almost 2 years ?? .I miss him dreadfully,I cry about him everyday but I decided to keep going with the research as I know he would want me to Plus I’m really interested in it .

I think Michael David Hunt could still be alive as about two years ago I messaged somebody I found on the ancestry site to ask and this lady said he was her father in law I think but she had split with the Son and didn’t have contact .I think she was called Joanna R Wilson .I think he may have been in the Navy too .

Matthew Thomas Hunt was my Dads Uncle and he moved to New Zealand .Sadly he died in 1961 .Ive managed to get a death certificate for him but I can’t find any photos of him which is a shame . and would like to find his grave in New Zealand but don’t know how .Are passport photos held on record anywhere?

I really appreciate everyone’s help as I keep looking and hitting dead ends .

There is Thomas Hunt ,the father and Mary A Hunt ,the mother but I’m struggling to find the maiden name of Mary A Hunt .If you can help me with her maiden name that would be fantastic .I keep hitting a dead end .

There are two Ezra Hunt’s one is the one you’ve mentioned - born approx 1875/76 and then my Grandad Ezra John David Hunt - known as Jack .
I have no idea what happened to the elder Ezra (1875/76) .
Also when Grandad was 5/6 years old there are other children in that census (1901)in the home but I don’t know anything further about them .I know there was a Rose,a Sharlotte(Charlotte) .

Matthew Hunt (15) and Elizabeth Hunt (20) are my Great Grandparents - they got together and raised Grandad Jack (Ezra John David).Elizabeth Sarah Hunt was Grandad Jacks birth Mum and from what I understand the elder Ezra was the biological father of Grandad Jack .

I’m also trying to find information about a John Hunt who was born in Ware in 1920.I found him in a 1939 Register in the London address at Harbut Road with my Grandad Jack and Nanny Dorothy Hunt (his wife) My Dad was born in 1931 and I remembering him mentioning a Johnnie from when he was younger ,so Im wondering if this John Hunt could be him ? - maybe a cousin or something ? - I don’t know but Im guessing he is part of the Ware,Hertfordshire Hunt family initially .

From what I know,from early 1900s onwards most of the Hunt family are in Battersea,Clapham Junction,London which is where Grandad Jack (John Ezra David Hunt ) met and married Nanny (Dorothy Mary Owen )my Dad and siblings were born and they lived until 1939 ish when they moved to Beech,Alton Hampshire.

I will try and explain .Ezra JD Hunt (Grandad Jack ) is the Son of Elizabeth Sarah Hunt nee George .I recently sent away for Grandads birth certificate and gave all the correct details,initially they couldn’t find it until we realised that Elizabeth Sarah was still George when Grandad was actually born (which I didn’t know until then ) .She married elder Ezra Hunt in that December (I think) .Which is why the birth was re registered in 1938 as Ezra John David Hunt.

So Elizabeth Sarah was initially with the elder Ezra ,they must have split at some point as she ended up marrying Matthew Hunt (born 1886) which is why Grandad Jack always called them Mum and Dad and my Dad always knew them as Gran and Grandad .

Sorry ,it’s quite confusing at first .

Regarding John Hunt born 1920 in Ware .Is the only way to find out more about him to get a birth certificate ? I think I found the mother’s maiden name was Taylor .

I think on one of the census Rose Hunt was down as daughter of Elizabeth Sarah but I’m having problems tracing Rose other than in the early census as a young child .
