Beatrice's DOB 7th July 1908.

BUT, as Erika has pointed out, birthplaces are not given on the 1939 register.
Although all the details seem to fit, you can only be sure that Beatrice was actually Beatrice James by buying the marriage cert to see if her husband William is the correct one.

Greyghost that is the marriage I believe she only married once, she had a son Peter Newell born 1935 out of wedlock.

Had a look on FMP for that 1939 record. And at the original as the transcript showed her on her own, but number 52 Schedule sub number.

the ? is because they couldn't interpret the initial after Annie

Unfortunately that address is the Workhouse by the looks of it. Annie is one of many at that address looking at the original.

Initially entered as Annie Newall. This was altered to Driver and dated 25.6.1943. The change to Calladine was entered 6.6.58.

These are not necessarily the date that the name changed, but more the date the change was made on the Register
