Find Ancestors

I know that Frederick was born 1863 Framsden Suffolk and that he married Emma Banthorpe on 29/09/1892 at Dennington Suffolk. Record was (Charles Frederick Sharman) The 1901 census show that he was in jail in Ipswich. Can anyone confirm that he died in 1944? Also know anything about the four children they had Frederick George Sharman, Vera Sharman, Cecil Sharman and Beatrice Ellen Sharman? Can anyone also tell me did he remain married or did his wife Emma divorce him sometime after 1911? Thanks for any help. Damian

You'd really have to buy the cert to be absolutely sure, but if it were my search, I would feel pretty confident about it.


As far as divorce (or not) is concerned -

he's not with Emma in either 1901 or 1911, but she's listed as married.
In 1939 he's described as married, and at Emma's death she's described as widow, which sounds as if they hadn't divorced.

Perhaps he was a long-tem patient , from before 1901 ??

I can't see him anywhere in 1911.

I think this may be Frederick in 1911. Everyone is described as 'lunatic.' How sad to be reduced to just initials, not even having your full name written out.
