I've had a look but there seems very little for the name BRADFORD. I don't know why that should be. Maybe they weren't very religious and didn't go in for baptisms. Maybe they came from overseas originally? Maybe they changed their name and Bradford is just a derivation of the original one?? If I were you I'd probably google for others who are researching that surname in Derbyshire and you might get lucky! Sorry, I must go and do some chores now! Ann Nicholas abt 1846 Astley, Warwickshire, England Aunt Ernest H Nicholas abt 1872 Handsworth, Staffordshire, England Head Ernest L Nicholas abt 1897 Handsworth, Staffordshire, England Son Frank H Nicholas abt 1879 Birmingham, Warwickshire, England Brother-in-law Nellie Nicholas abt 1871 Birmingham, Warwickshire, England Wife It does list his as being single however. So does the other one! |
