If you can it would be a good idea to send for the death certificate and see who registered the death...... I am happy that Innes Veale exists have tracked her and her family through the census and her Mother Innes death in 1885. Gail. x

Hi Gail, I've looked in the 1901 census and can't find any Stephen Moad, yet if you're right ( and I'm sure you are), he didn't die until the end of the year. Any ideas as to why this might be? Did they include hospital patients etc in the census? Thanks Jan :)
