HI ALL AM REALLY STUCK WITH THIS BIRTH FOR A JAMES PICKETT BORN OCT 1864 TO JAMES PICKETT GENERAL HAWKER AND ANN FORMALLY TAYLOR LIVING 9 UPPER GREEN ST SOUTHWARK. I CANT FIND MARRIAGE FOR JAMES PICKETT AND ANN NEE TAYLOR ANYWHERE HAVE SEARCH AND NOTHING NOR CAN I FIND A BIRTH FOR JANMES WHICH WOULD OF BEEN AROUND 1841. I WAS HOPING TO FIND MARRIAGE TO THEN TRACE BACK FROM THERE TO FIND RIGHT BIRTH ETC. I DONT KNOW IF THEY HAD ANY MORE CHILDREN I ONLY KNOW OF A SON ALSO JAMES BORN 1864 PLEASE HELP X sorry for caps i forgot it was on am not shouting sorry again

There are two James Pickett's born Dec. qtr. 1864. They are:- St. George S, 1d, 144 and Lymington, 2b, 521. I would imagine the first one is the most likely. Kath. x

were they married in 1861 census? what year does he say he was born on other census right, you have used two different words there Nee and formerly had she been married before?because they dont mean the same

sorry reg i didnt realise it was on ok basically am looking for a marriage between james pickett general hawker and ann taylor. they had a child james born 1864 in southwark so presume before that marriage took place. i dont know of any other children. am trying to find marriage to then trace back to finding james (the dads) birth which i expect to be around 1841,. can you help thanks

kath i have the birth of james junior thats where i get info on im looking for his parents marriage and his birth which would be birth around 1841 ish marriage 1860 - 1864 as james born 1864 (son)

havent found them on census i dont have access all i know is of the one child

ok sorry well on the birth cert of their son it says ann pickett formerly taylor thats all i know i persume this means she was married before then as it doesnt say nee? i never knew

No Alexandra, I would say that means she hasn't been married before. If she had it would say something like Ann Pickett, late ?????, formerly Taylor. Kath. x

can someone check freebmd for this marriage i put in james pickett to spouse surname taylor and 3 came up tried to do it other way and mine keeps crashing
