Hi Deborah, Yes I know we have to take it all in our stride but it still hurts when you are let down by someone - still I put it down to poor research as a good researcher will always (where possible) chesk their data against the parish registers as they are one of our best source materials. There is a little programe called 'Gedmark' which stamps your identity on any ged files you may distribute or download to sites like GR, so your intellectual ownership is always recorded however often the file may be passed on. This of course doesn't prevent anyone copying your info line by line. dave

Hi Dawn, I doubt it as my lot were from Charlbury OXF - pity though it would be something to put with the tree - still never mind if I ever come accross an ag lab road or a gwr railway worker road in my neck of the woods that will be more apt for my lot. All the very best Phil
