Find Ancestors

I am looking for William Mounsey (maybe spealt Mouncey) aged 5 born in Bitton, Yorks. In 1881 I believe he was a farm servant living in Long Marston, Yorks. In 1891 he was living in Escrick. Any info on the rest of his household at that time would be appreciated. Cheers Nicky

On the 1891 census , looks like you have all the info. His name must have been mistranscribed on the 1871 census, very annoying to say the least. Regards Vera

hi nichola, on the 1881 he is down as being born in bilton in wetherby. vera, did you look on ancestry 1871 or on the census ? because not all of yorkshire is on ancestry for 1871 yet. on the 1881 there is a family [only 1] who were born in the same place, this could be williams lot. i have their address from the 1881 , i will check that address on the 1871, see if they were there with william. sue.

hi nichola, have found them on the 1861. bilton john 34 hannah 29 sarah ann 8 mary 5 mathew 3 elizabeth 10 m sue.

hi nichola. have found them on the 1851. cannot have been married long, they have no children yet. but in the same village i found mathew and mary both aged 64, possibly williams parents. also a lancelot aged 76, he might be..... have printed them all , send me your address, will post them. might be worth asking for an 1841 look up, wont take long, it is a small village, for them . good luck , sue.
