Find Ancestors

Hello
My nana's (born 1930) father was called Joseph Bradshaw and i think he was from lancashire, born around 1908 ish and i can't seem to find him anywhere.
When he married my nana's mother florence ball they lived in shropshire but i cant find any record of him there either.
Joseph died when my nana was about 18 and i cant seem to find his death certificate either.
I am trying to see when they married or if i can find his family.
Am i just really bad at searching this info out or is it an awkward one??

Did you see anything for him in shropshire or any marriage anywhere?
I am wondering if maybe he used a different name for official things.

i havnt seen him in marriages , checked 28-30 ill go try it under florence,

maybe they married before then?

if he was b 1908 earliest they could marry is 1924 ,that would make him 16?

last 1/4 of 1925 is missing in ancestry.

hi hannah, its ok the index.s dont cover just an area, they cover the whole country,

hilda birth j/a/s 1/4 ... blackburn, mmn ball...were there any other children? ive also checked 1948 -50 for death of joseph,

I dont know if there was any more children.

my nana has brothers and sisters but i dont know if florence did. I am pretty sure she had a sister (maybe sarah?) because my nana has a cousin.

there was one older than her- betty- not very many years older.

i think joseph had two brothers one was bert

there is definately no marriage bet a ball and bradshaw bet 1924. - 1930. there is just one 1/4 missing which is the last 1/4 1925, so its possible they could be in there

Could someone do me a quick favour and just look up william booth b.1836-1837 in cheshire, probably astbury, congleton area on the 1841 census? it wont seem to work for me.
Im just wanting to see who was in the household etc. thanks!!
