could someone kindly look up a family for me i have tried for 2 years now the names
Edward Bartlett born 1851
Emily Bartlett born 1868
James Bartlett born 1887
Elizabeth Bartlett born 1901
This is a complete family i have Death certs for all of them but nothing as to where they lived or were born, im going nuts , i think they may have come from the sussex Eastbourne area, any kind of information would be very welcome

Theres no birth for 1900and 1901 in Sussex for her.

Nope this isnt the right one then if her second name is margaret. my posting croseed with later info

im not that sure that they are from eastbourne just that my grandmother always said she was from Eastbourne and went to a catholic school and grew up in Eastbourne if that makes sense

I have a Death cert and an enquiry into the death of Edward Bartlett beacuse he burnt to death and the report in the paper states he was a rag and bone collectore .The article is dated the 21/01/1914 amd that they were all living in 107 longstone rd Eastbourne

There is this couple on 1901 but there are no children with them :0(((

William H Oram 1852 brother in law...American Subject...pensioner US army.
These are in Shaftesbury Ave, Alverstoke.

Cant find any other Edward with an Emily anywhere.

There must be something obvious I am missing.

Can not find a birth for Elizabeth Margaret.

The 1901 census already posted is the only one that I can find as well.

Are you getting your Grandmothers' birthdate from her death cert, as whoever registered her death could have got it wrong?

I cant find any James 1887 with parents Edward and Emily either :0((

i cant find a birth cert anywhere for my grandmother only that we always celebrated her birthday on the 12 jan and she said she was born in 1901
