hi all ,i'm in a big puzzle.i have been told that i had an aunt and 2 uncles who were brothers and sister,but all research has found 2 seperate family's and the sister does not exist,this i know is false as i used to see her every weekend.her name is violet patterson she died on the 22/4 85 a spinster in sunderland,her birth as far as we know was 14/12/1891.the last address i have for her is baker st.sunderland.previous address was mainsforth terr.sunderland.can anyone please help me find her,her siblings and her parents.i know this address as my grandparents also stayed there.please help put me out of my misary

Susan has advised that she died a spinster, therefore presuming that she did not marry!
I have searched Dec Qtr 1891, and all qtrs 1892 and havent come across her birth yet.

Sorry, I missed the bit in your original question when you said she was a spinster!

There aren't any Violet Pattersons on the 1901 born 1891 +/- 5 years from Durham (or anywhere near there).

thanks for replying so quickly,yes that is her.my grandparents were william dunbar and violet patterson,her parents were charles edward patterson and elizabeth guy.sorry no proof that she was born in county durham,just what i've been told.the mainsforth terr.address was around the late 50's

You've got me confused now.........lol!

You say Violet Patterson was your Aunt........then you say she was your grandmother!

And your other thread about these people states that Charles and Elizabeth didn't marry until 1904.

I think you need to do some double-checking.............

sorry but i think i've confussed you,it is charles and ernest's sister violet i am looking for the death details you have are correct.so if i'm right it's my g grandfathers sister

could be ceri,could you find out if she had brothers called ernest and charles edward please

It is possible that the person who registered her death was not 100% on her date of birth (i have discovered this alot in my tree)

hi ceri the only brothers i know about are ernest who died in ww1 and charles my g grandfather
