This is the family that you have found. Half the children lived with their father William, and the others with their aunt Annie Maria in the next house. This could be for two reasons - their mother had recently died, and being a large family, it is possible they 'feard' the TALLY MAN

it looks like Eliza is Margaret from the 1871

Julie, the Eliza/Margaret sage has been a prob. all along, but it is the three childrens mariages I want to sort first

Yes please, and too save you time and trouble, I have the marriages of the other siblings of the family

I have tried every possible way i know to look for those 3 and can't see anything..thought i found Eunice in the 1901 but it wasn't her

Many thanks for trying, it was just a hope. I can't find any deaths either - they could possibly have moved away, but I can't see any of William's daughters going into service. They were too posh for that

Samuel, Eunice, Margaret (but born Whittlesey) Actually he has all the names have you been in touch with him

John married Emma Ashley in 1897, but I have thought of some thing else. The family had an aunt Emma Turner who went to keep house for two motherless neices in Newmarket. She was born 1836 and is on the 1881 as being there. Is it possible that she took in at least the girls who had become motherless from Whittlesey, and could appear in the 1891 as living there. Also living in the 1881 household is 10yr old Gertrude K Kerry, when she gets married to a Arthur Ranson, she gives her name of Gertrude K Turner. Is there anyway to find her parentage.
