Could someone do me a 61 and 71 look up for this chap?

His birth entry is this:
Births Jun 1843 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CARRINGTON William Felix Wallan Newington 4 324

He has 3 siblings which are accounted for with mum and dad on the 71 census. (newington is in surrey) All 4 children had the double barrelled surname but dropped the carrington -i assume once the parents finally married. (1856)

Thanks

Janice

Looby Report 31 Dec 2007 22:53

its possible-who in there right mind would call there child william william?

Janice

Janice Report 31 Dec 2007 22:55

The Welsh frequently do that!!!!

The child William - what was his surname at birth?

Looby

Looby Report 31 Dec 2007 22:57

now i sound offensive but didnt mean to!

i assume he was born william wallan. i cant find a birth entry for him as wallan, wallen or williams.

there isnt a connection to wales that i know of. the mum sarah was born in norfolk i think

Looby

Looby Report 31 Dec 2007 22:58

god im stupid-did the search on william instead of henry

Janice

Janice Report 31 Dec 2007 23:00

When did they marry?

Looby

Looby Report 31 Dec 2007 23:07

that i dont know!

on the 81 census sarah -wife is a wallan, cant find her on 71 and in 61 youve already found him with his parents. his 1st child was born 1867ish.

im doing it again!!!! just looked at the tree-william and sarah had several children, there is an ellen but i had her birth as 72 but that was approximate- i dont think i have seen a bmd entry for her. was there a william and ellen on that previous entry you mentioned.

SORRY FOR MESSING ABOUT!
