Find Ancestors

This is not my tree - I am doing this for a friend, but this particular line is going nowhere fast!

I have a Margaret Annie Prangle (maiden name) died in 1921 age 32 (from death indexes) and married in 1911 aged 21. I have the marriage cert where it gives her father's name as George Prangle, a maltster. Area is Westhampnett, Sussex. At the time of her marriage, she is living in Arundel but formerly of Bognor, Sussex. Husband is from Bognor too.

Can't find a birth for Margaret Annie and can't find her on a census. Also don't know the name of George's wife.

Any ideas appreciated!

I found that one too, Claire, and it's definitely Prangle on the original. Problem though is that George is a carter on a farm. He's 45, so a little late in life to start a new career.

I saw that one too and had the same thoughts as Margaret.

This is likely to be the one shown in the census....

OK folks, what do you make of this?

On the 1901, there's an Annie "Prangh" - Prangle on original, living in Arum St, Arundel which is the address on marriage cert. Father is a maltster but his name is William!! Wife is Mary however! AAAGGHHH!

Perhaps George is William's brother?

William is 42, born Hambledon, Hants. Can we find William and George together then?

William and Mary are in Arundel in 1891 with a daughter Nelly BURNS!! Are Margarets called Nelly?
