Thanks Janey and Kuncinta,
Sorry I did not understand about staying on a link but have had it explained to me now. I now have to look further to both Piedgeon or Pidgeon, or even pigeon as his mother or father or the George side. I do know that his Son Edward was known as Darky George which could indicate that he was dark skinned perhaps a throw back from Henry's past relatives. Perhaps he was born abroad and was brought into this countryat the docks at Limehouse in London where he lived, according to my Uncle, for some time.

I am researching the Georges as well. - the line descending from Henry Frederick George who ended up in Victoria.

Hello Jo,

This thread is over 18 months old now and it is doubtful that Sheila is still expecting any replies. You can try clicking on her name and sending your message that way. If she still has the same email address, she will be notified.

If you are looking for connections on this site, the best thing to do is to put the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above (in the top dark green bar) to see if anyone else has them in their tree.

If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

Meanwhile, if you would like help with your own research, then why not start a thread of your own - using any useful information from this thread as background knowledge. There are a lot of members willing to help you.

Regards. Cx.
