I have just received the marriage cert of Edward Scallon and Alice Cowan 3 may 1860 and Edwards father is STEPHEN - farmer.
Even more confusing to sort out as the 3 people i started with as cousins all now have a father named STEPHEN, now i am left to wonder if they were brothers???
