Well Merry, you larf, but hubby lost something this morning. It was a two hour search, you should have seen his face as he pulled out sofas and the fluff under them were enough to stuff a matress, not to mention the bits of old soap down the back of the bathroom sink and so on. I did actually feel quite guilty and embarrassed. I think the half packet of biscuits under the sofa cushion was the ultimate embarrassment.

Joanne I can assure you that mothers can become control freaks in these circumstances-they withold stuff and resent it being unearthed again,but you have your own rights and your father did care.
