Hi Jingle Just to say when you load up to tribal pages it can take only a short while to actually upload BUT it can then take them up to 24 hours or even longer for them to configure it before you can use it. You will get an email from them when it's ready. Kat.

Thanks for that Kat, I thought they sent it when it was up-loaded;; Not that anything is uploaded yet, think the problem was it was making the GEDCOM from the back up file not the original so that is getting done now;; Babs taking ages though

So youve managed to export it to tribal pages? Have you done the cd? I would if I were you, just in case you have a computer melt down. The other thing is, click on the Internet tab at the top and godown to create family page (or something like that!). A box and dialogue shoots up and it really is just a matter of clicking a lot of 'nexts' to make your own family home page which your friends can access by typing in the web page addy. It can also be found if someone on the net does a surname search for one of your names. I have received a few mails from people who googled and found my webpage (dont put your home address on it!) I have just an email addy on there and Ive received useful contacts through it. I update mine just by clicking the nexts a lot every time I add a few people.
