Yes I like the site and did have troubles just then logging, feel guilty because I am in now and I have sent them a email..... even being refused twice for buying credits when I thought I had bought them to be refused again. I did get a nice email back and extra credits. FOR GODS SAKE DO NOT USE THE GREEN BACK BUTTON it throws you off the site just use their buttons!! I am still having trouble with downloading the DjVu viewer but I think that is XP windows making sure nothing gets through. But I think I have found a Aunt, my mother Edith Oakley nee Jones born in the Aston area I was sure had more sisters. And I remember from a child a Violet Yippee! Just have to find the other Jones and a Jones Pearsall marriage which matches And my fathers sister Dorothy Oakley and I will be made. If only I can remmeber her married name {if I ever knew it?}

Eagles, If you are searching between 1866 - 1920 or 1984 -2002 then yes it is much cheaper than 1837online. If you are searching any other years then it costs about the same as 1837. hope this helps. regards, Siobhan

I bought credits without hassle. I've located several 'missing rellies' which would have cost me a small fortune to blanket search on 1837 online. I've been able to bring up pages of one-name marriages that I've now printed off to cross check against the names in my tree. Very impressed! Lou

does it have a better search than 1837? I wasted my money buying credits for that site.
