We only have two Local papers issued once a week which we buy plus two freebies.

Hubby's done both, I've only bought...once ...a set of 4 leather dining chairs(new) was so chufft with them !

Yes , I've naturally curly hair and have cut and coloured my own for the last 30yrs, but with my eyesight changing found the colouring a bit difficult. I am very cautious of having my haircut by anyone,
but after my daughter and other peeps recommendation have a regular stylist with whom I am happy ( ish)..lol
I still come home and snip a bit here and there and usually re blow dry it or come home with it wet !

Do you enter any of the National Lotteries ?

Yes, singing in school eisteddfod, 100 yds sprint in school sports and a logo completion many yrs ago, I won £1000 on a Glamorgan Cricket Club scratch card 23 yrs ago and a £200 voucher at our local supermarket 25 yrs ago
( last 2 not really competitions tho..just remember them with fondness.lol )

No although I have tried it and couldn't see the point, none of my immediate family smoke.

Yes, Out of relatives it's only my niece that smokes and she always goes outside on the patio to do so, day or night.
Oh forgot bil does , but he lives in the US, but he does the same when he visits.

Who mainly chooses what you watch on TV ?

I watch what soaps and documentaries I want then hubby usually chooses after 9pm. I usually watch the Apprentice on my tele in the kitchen or on i player next day as he's not a fan.

How many TV and radio / hi fi s do you have ..? ( I'm thinking of my electric bill here and cringing !!)

We too have a high electricity bill, probably down to the many appliances in the house and the electrics for two ponds. We have three TVs, four radios & three Hi Fi's plus dvd players.[not all in use at the same time]

Do you cook by gas or electricity?

Only when the weathers bad, don't like wet washing hanging indoors plus I like to iron it the same day if possible.

I don't have a dishwasher , but my ex sister in law said that a marriage certificate should come attached to a dishwasher !.. Note she is my ex sil !!

Yes - all cooked veg, including cauli/broc stalk is blitzed and seasoned and frozen if not needed at that time.

Do you walk/bus rather than driving short distances?
(assuming it is not a 'supermarket shop')

Most of our shopping is a large supermarket shop which we usually do twice a week, if it was only for something minor than we would walk as we have a few local shops within 10 mins.

Do you have good public transport where you live?

Yes there is a half hourly service in each direction,which would take you to the nearest 2 large towns and even to Cardiff, but because we live at the top of a lot of Welsh valleys, to cross valleys to another town would mean a few different connections........ I drive anyway .

I do half an hours brisk walking each day and exercise at home
