Hello Allan. "The stock answer was "well go for it and in future do not bother phoning or coming into the office, I'll only respond to letters so that there is no misunderstanking about what has been said" Perfect answer and advice - thank you. I do hope I'm not boring you all with this ongoing saga. |

I had a lucky breakthrough with my tree. Some time ago, Hot Matches led to contact with a lady who was doing the family tree of my great grandmother. I had only her parents. This lady asked for details of my Dad and his siblings, which I sent. |

My son came back twice as well Sue, before he finally moved out. I was really happy to have him here.He managed to save up a fair bit of money, which was much better than living on his own and having all the bills . |

Lucky you Berona - I'd have paid 3 x that for the CD. It will be invaluable. I too have a CD with family information but no where near as extensive as yours. |

Sue, not boring at all and sometimes it helps to have a different perspective of the problem. |

Sue - I know what you mean. I always resented people who made remarks about my son 'still living with his mother'. He was 36 before he left. |

That is how we felt Berona, apart from a bit of extra food, his being here didn't cost us any more, we would be paying the bills for the two of us in any case. We never charged him rent, we were just glad to see him save. He always helped with the jobs around the place and was always willing to buy things when we let him |

Our son pays board but it's very minimal. He certainly wouldn't be able to live away on what he gives us. Like your son Berona - if he stays away overnight he rings to tell me or warns me beforehand. I really don't worry about him being out and about. He isn't a heavy drinker and he prefers to go out and play snooker or cards than go to nightclubs. He's into martial arts and when he isn't training he's going to tournaments so we really don't see too much of him. |

Just had a quick look at the other thread - but saw mention that Allan has a treasure that everyone wants - and I thought I had better leave! |

I don't know what you mean Tec, I am very understanding about decorating. I merely inquired about when he was intending to use the tins of paint he bought just before Christmas. There was no need for him to chunter so much |

I love teasing OH by looking around the room and saying " mmmm.....this room could do with a coat of paint". He goes very quiet and the colour drains from his face:-))) It does keep him on his toes. |

I hope that you have a licence for the camp site you are running Allan. Given your "charms" you must be raking in the camping fees |
