Thanks Mau, now you put the rest of us lazy lot to shame.

Who said that? One of the old comedians on the radio I would think, my parents would often say it.

Just to say thanks to all who sent me comments on my latest offering; It was all brought on by buying a new duvet,so it was :-D :-D

I know we have all been busy and since Rose left,we have lost a bit of oomph, but it would be nice if we continued, even now and then :-)

I have just been told by a member of the group that the writers group has broken up. If it has I am not aware of it, can somebody enlighten me please. I was under the impression that we were all taking time out for Christmas. I know I am as I had 160 cards to make and I couldn't spread myself any further than I was. I am hoping that we will return with a vengeance after christmas.

I must say I was most upset to get that email.

Hello Ann,

I did reply to someone in the group that I hoped we would 'revive' after Christmas :-D I haven't given up ( though all I seem to come up with at this time are mawkish Christmas poems which I feel are a 'bit much' even for me lol). I think we have all been busy one way and another, either with Christmas or family/work things generally.

Any one who wants to try their hand at a bit of writing would be made very welcome, we don't do hard criticism ( thank God lol) just encouragement...and it's FUN ! :-)

Something for the New Year? A poem or piece about New Years Past, or hopes for the year to come?

Good morning fellow scribblers :-) I wasn't aware the group had broken up either :-S although we have been quiet of late.....soo much to do/think about! but I think that's a great idea to start the New Year with Rose.
New Years past? that's all I seem to think about at the moment,I try not to get too maudling but to remember the happy times.

I'd like to wish all writers and readers a very happy Christmas and a healthy, peaceful New Year 2012

Mau XX :-) <3

Phew, that is good, I did reply to the person and say that, as far as I was aware we were just resting! :-) :-) :-)

A Happy Christmas to all scribblers and may our brains be revitalised come the new year.
