If people enjoy football, and normally follow a team, then fine.

But why should there be media lead mass hysteria when ever the WC is on? Is there the same when the RUF WC, or any other sport is being played? NO!

And why does every other advert seem to think that by floating a Red and White flag in the background, more people will buy their product? Puts me right off.

OMG - even the panel games are football based!

At work there's a managerial 'protocol' on leave allowed during the World cup. I kid you not, it's a lot more leniant than the 'can't get into work because of the snow' 'protocol'.

There's no bleedy 'protocol' on maggie wanting to go to Ikea midweek or 'todays the day for maggie to study her navel fluff' is there!!

I hate the hype that surrounds the football and am already sick of the England flags flying. Wouldn't it be nice if all these people flying England flags supposedly because they are patriotic would fly them on our Saints day, St Georges day?
