I agree makes you really proud, to be British/English and the music was wonderful! Kates dress was really very very tasteful! William is also a bit tastie!!!!!

It was such a pretty wedding. Outfits which, for me stood out, were the Queen's and that of Tara Palmer Tonkinson! Hats - lack of by Mrs Cameron (most surprised) and the set of stag horns worn by one of the York daughters.

Am glad that it turned out to be true that the bride and groom had quite a say in their marriage ceremony.

I thought Samantha Cameron's dress was beautiful..I too was surprised by lack of hat but apparently there were flowers in her hair ???

Kate looked stunning. Absolutely loved the dress....didn't think much of the bouquet though tbh. Lovely service and the Abbey looked breathtaking with all the trees.

Throughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the balcony now x

Just waiting for the kiss now.It was wonderful and yes it makes me feel proud to be British.I had to laugh watching William trying not to stand on the side of her dress coming back down the isle .
My OH and son who said they would not be watching sat through the whole thing lol

I have never been fortunate enough to marry lol, but i was unreasonably chuffed to see the dress as the sleeves and bodice and line of the skirt were exactly what I had in mind when I got engaged 30 something years ago :) ( cheaper though ! lol)

Samantha Cameron had 3? flowers in her hair, which matched the scarf she was carrying.

Glad to see that other people thought Beatrice's hat was awful. I think she must have borrowed it off a Teletubbie. lol

From Australia, I thought it was a wonderful wedding. Prince William is so loved out here and I think they will be very happy. The dress was beautiful - so elegant. Harry is a larrikin, if I can say that, such a great rapport between the brothers!! Some of the women either lurched forward or leaned to the side depending on where the hats were perched. How did Beatrice keep that hat on?????? Yes, the British should be very proud of this remarkable young couple.

absolutely brilliant - only the Brits can do something as spectacular as a Royal occasion - everything was so perfect = apart from the outfits of Eugenie and Beatrice - looked like they got theirs from Primark!!!

Beckhams looked great but Tara Palmer Tomkinson's new nose looked rather strange!!

I'm in the middle of decorating my front room so it's on with my painting gear and back to the emulsion!!!

I even went to bed earlier so I could get up and watch everything, and it was worth it, a wonderful wedding. Kate looked so elegant and pretty, and her sister looked gorgeous. Her Mum's outfit was a bit wishywashy but isn't her son like her and Kate like her Dad? He was holding Kate's hand so tightly or she was holding onto him, but must have been very emotional for him. Wills and Harry looked smart. I did want to go and tidy their hair for them as they entered the Abbey and they took off their caps lol Poor Wills is going to end up like his Dad with an enlarging bald spot but at least he won't go for the semi comb over Charles has. Charles, Camilla and the Queen have all had the same hair do for ever!
I thought the Queen is beginning to look her age, a little bit stooped now but doing well even so as is Prince Philip. They have been married almost as long as I have been alive!!

I imagined Diana there, wouldn't she have been bursting with pride and joy? I am sure she was with them in spirit tho and nice to see how easily William went to kiss his aunt Jane, Diana's sister and sort of blew a kiss to presumably the other aunt as he couldn't reach to her where she was sitting.

Who were the tiny bridesmaids? Was the smallest one Camilla's granddaughter? They all did very well as did the pages.

All in all, a wonderful day and even the weather behaved for them. I wish them every happiness and lots of freedom to live their lives in a fairly ordinary manner, free from papparazi and interference.

The Bishop of London's 'sermon' well it wasn't really a sermon but more of a fatherly chat to the bride and groom, it was lovely.

Pippa's dress was so simple and elegant and the little ones were just delightful all of them including the two young ensigns! Do not like the Duchess of Cornwall but I have to give her credit - on the balcony, the littlest one could barely see over the top and it was evident that the Duchess was looking about for something for her to stand on and the next thing Charles (who reportedly is not fond of young children) was holding the little girl in his arms. Ten out of ten Camilla.

I agree, it was all absolutely wonderful.
And as for Eugenie and Beatrice!! I thought Beatrice's hat was hidious and Eugene looked absolutely rediculous!
They obviously have the same dress sence as their mother!!

I read that Catherine (!!) had the flower "Sweet William" in her bouquet and I thought Lily of the Valley ?

Oh PH that's exactly what I said when I saw them arrive. The other thought that leapt to my mind was about a couple of characters from Cinderella but I am far too polite to say it in public!

Such a beautiful occasion. Makes my patriotic gene tingle.

I felt for Camilla, as before the service she looked unsure as to where to 'put herself' before the walk to their seats. It's a difficult role for her however you look at it, and the wedding must have been a reminder...maybe even that she would have liked to be 'mother of the groom' as it were, but full marks to all involved.
