My father in law used to open his Christmas presents, smile and thank each of his children and grandchildren politely and carry on drinking his coffee. He never opened one. |

Thank you girls - and here was me thinking I would be deluged with complaints about the hassle of Christmas and presents generally Think i was quoting my dear late wife in the poem - the book she kept about cards and presents is frightening. |
