been wet and wild all day but only around 45-50mph!

Tomorrow they are promising the lowest pressure storm in 100 years 936MB!!!

I have everything i need except the capon from my local butcher 3 miles away and a spare bottle of milk. All sorted with gifts etc.. and other food. Plenty of peat, coal and candles plus batteries for torches.

So all prepared.

I heard several thousands down south west(cornwall) lost power earlier and a lot of flooding cancelled trains going towards Doncaster i think.

Heres hoping everyone trying to get to their xmas destination makes it there safely.

70 - 80 mph winds predicted for the South East in the early hours of the morning. Things always seem worse when you can't see what's happening. :-0

There are people and areas much worse off than us soft Southerners - pity the Welsh who seem to be hit by everything going. Not only do they have to contend with the high winds, but also flash floods because the ground is already saturated.

Hose pipe ban, anyone? :-D

London has had a battering today. ........ not very important for most but unfortunately the Snow Globe in Piccadilly has been deflated....
