Your poor Aunt, she is suffering and to have her feet hurt by the oxygen tank, well that is beyond belief, how careless of the staff and lax of them not to report it to your Mum. I hope the consultant knows what happened.

Try not to argue with your Mum as it will only upset you both and you need to support each other. I know it's easy to say but it won't help anyone if you are at loggerheads.

Take care love, come on here and vent your frustrations and then maybe you can cope more easily with the way things are.

big hugs

Your poor auntie Rach, and not good for the staff not to tell your Mum. At least they logged it and I presume they were rushed over Christmas (being generous here) and forgot to tell your Mum.

As Liz says, do try not to fall out with your Mum, you are both stressed and need each other. We can take your frustration so come on here. :-) <3

Oh Rach what a thing to happen to your Aunty. On top of everything else she is going through.Just a thought ,but if it was me I would take a photo of the bruising and swelling .Those Oxygen cylinders weigh a blooming ton :-S,plus a visual record is always a useful thing to have even though it was accidental.
I'm not surprised you and your mum are arguing .You are all under a lot of stress right now and worn out.I know the 2 of you get on and are great support for each other in tough times. But a deep Breath and a count to 10 and a few steps back can be a great help .
Lots of love from Posh Bird :-D :-D <3 <3
