I remember before you had to put it in the slot it was put on a flat bed and roller was pushed over it and an impression was made on a carbonised paper slip........ :-S :-S

If mine gets rubbed hard (in back pocket, for example) its seems to quickly get a small crack which expands quite fast.

In a couple of years time, a PhD student will be doing their dissertation on this subject.

And he or she will copy this thread into an appendix as supporting evidence.

Sometimes if you put yours in a hole-in-the-wall and you don't give the correct info it gets swallowed up and you have to go into the bank and ask the cashier for another one......... :-S
