I bet the delay makes for interesting listening!!

It's years since I listened to ELO. I'd forgotten how good they are.

I first remember them when I was working before I had my kids - and my eldest is 42 next week!! Where have all those years gone?

I'm off now to make a coffee before watching "The Village".

Enjoy the rest of the concert.

Yes I have a turntable. Bought a Rega at some expense last year. Makes the old records, still in good condition sound, bl***ly fantastic.

Have quite a lot of stuff not available on CD.

ELO possibly the best group that ever existed next to the Beatles.....

Wondering why Jeff Lynne has never been Knighted for his service to the music
industry, if Macartney James Gallway and Geldoff can get them why not Jeff Lynne ?

Island

Island Report 15 Sep 2014 10:34

What's a proper Birmingham boy? Jeff Lynne has lived in Beverley Hills for nearly twenty years and before that Meriden for some time.

Great band though, also Idle Race and Travelling Wilburys.

I love them too.....a fantastic group and I have several CDs. 'Telephone Line' was another favourite for me. :-)

It can be recorded by pressing the record (red) (not the red button thats with the green, blue and yellow buttons) button on your Humax control...we are waiting for it to start again ;-)
