Nameless one, they,re probably Colour blind Or don,t like tha colours :-D apart from the fact they disagree with the rules of the road or should that be the pavements( that's where most of the cycle.time a few of them,if not all were prosecuted for this. :-(

Some pedestrians confuse Pelican Crossings (push a button) with a Zebra Crossing (pedestrian has priority......as long as the vehicle has time to stop before they step into the road)

One such person was lucky I wasn't travelling fast, as was the car behind who avoided bashing into me. Even other pedestrians stared in amazement at her!

The push buttons at traffic lights junctions/crossings only, in my opinion, give the pedestrian a feeling of control. In reality the little green man only appears because it's linked to the traffic flow. There may be exceptions, but not in our local towns.
