she is so sore this morning :-( but she has had some toast and a few cuppa's...She sat up in bed which is a good sign.....She is now laying back on her V pillow and watching the news which she loves doing........Thanks for asking Wend <3 <3

It was bitterly cold (-6C) this morning in my corner of Kent and I'm not sure what the weather will throw at us today, the forecast is a day of mixed wintry weather, rain, sleet, hailstones, and snow, they say it will be dryer later on today an there is a chance of the sun making an appearance at some point :-S

Whether you are venturing out or staying at home today, with all the wintry weather that is around, wherever you are - keep warm, stay dry, keep smiling and try to enjoy your day :-)

And if you are ever looking for words to describe a real friend - this Arabian Proverb seems to fit the bill ;-)

A friend is one to whom one may pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it, keep what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away :-)

It is very cold here and the wind has died off but I don't like the look of the clouds above.

Mersey <3 your Nan will soon be telling you all to stop fussing as she's not an invalid :-D as for my eyes, I managed to get through yesterday without any painkillers, but vision in my right eye is still blurred with frequent bright flashes of light occurring, although it's very annoying I'm not too concerned as the eye surgeon did say I would experience these and other side effects for several weeks.

Yesterday's heavy snow fall is still lying but it's shrinking back a little.
OH is outside, clearing the path.
