Afternoon all, frosty start here this morning,took ages to clear. now its a mixture of rain and sometimes sleet and its still bloody cold. glad your nan is feeling better Merseykins,hope you are keeping well also. Sacked the so called carers,they were useless,after one day the reverted to the norm which was unacceptable.hope you all have a good weekend,keep warm and dry. :-D

No chance fly, they seem to think they can come at their convenience :-| when I pay for a job its when I want it done not when they think they will. :-| :-| will just go back to the norm and do it myself as I have done for years.

It is not easy getting the right staff but please try another company you need a rest Merls <3 <3

I do hope you can get some good carers for your Dad, and some continuity. My Dad's were always chopping and changing, though he had a good rapport with his most regular one. He refused the male ones, as he thought they were too patronising! :-D :-D

There is a new set of carers around here so hope they are alright :-) i knew most of the old ones but these are a different company :-)

There was only the one company around here, so there wasn't much choice. The majority were lovely girls, but their time was stretched to the limit. Good luck! :-) :-) :-)

Fly - carers can come in pretty early - from about 6.30! This was too early for my Dad, so they usually came at 8.00. If they were too early or too late, he used to complain to their boss in no uncertain terms! :-D ;-)
