I agree with Island in one respect if you are
determined to give up you will .
I went cold turkey.
I watch a neighbour in the summer time who smokes
like there is no tomorrow, who uses more than one patch
makes no difference to him, He says the patches don't work,
I told him the only way they would work for him if he placed
them over his mouth.
Stick with it Uzzi <3

LOL Emma :-D Yes, I've heard people say stick the patch over your mouth - not to me. They do work if the smoker wants to pack in the habit but you do have to be in the mindset for stopping. I say your neighbour doesn't want to give up and is expecting the patch to do all the work.

UPDATE .......

I would love to say that it is going fantastic, but it´s not :-( :-(

I haven´t caved in yet but my stress levels are in the danger zone. It hasn´t helped that a few little niggles have occurred .............like a couple of the light fittings going t*ts up, an on going ruck with the hissing Belgium at the top of the community is reaching new levels (that is a long long saga ! ) . It also doesn´t help that OH is very short fused also. he has sneakily nabbed the odd 1 or 2 from work I think so didn´t help with a whole 24hrs with me :-D It has made me grin mind as he is up and running to do outside jobs, running something to the insurers , taking the rubbish out, going to fetch small items from the shops instead of waiting for us to walk the dogs and calling in ;-)

I might have to dig the e-ciggie out. NOT to smoke it but to sit it in the ashtray so I can play with it :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Stick with it both of you. Must be difficult with both of you stressed at once. It's the dogs I feel sorry for :-D :-D No, I know they are safe. Still having problems with the Belgian? If my T can do it you can. <3 <3 <3 <3

lol Ann yes we are still having problems with the hissing Belgian. It is difficult both of us going cold turkey but it wouldn´t work if one carried on smoking and the other didn´t. As soppy as it sounds we are a pair so it´s all or nothing. It was him wanted to pack up so I agreed to do so also. NOT my choice this time but my support. He did this once before hence we have e.cigs but didn´t last because I was going through the mother dear stage and Smoked.

I know I will feel better for it eventually, I just am not sure how at the moment :-D
