After fruitless bodging through endless channels and finding nothing but c**p, repeats or adverts, no...

The occasional thing comes up that I like (e.g. Wolf Hall) but there's always catch-up if I miss it.

I record loads of programmes that I love, lots of documentaries and things that are on when something else is on which o. h. wants to watch. Also some programmes are impossible to watch with o.h. because he gets angry and shouts at the tv

I do juggle things I want to do to fit with fav programmes sometimes

Well, I like to watch the evening news, but if I have to forego it, it's nearly the same the next night anyway. Our weather-girl gets me very distracted with talk of large fronts etc.

Talking of tv programmes, did anyone watch the programme on bbc1 last evening about young Down's Syndrome Actors putting on Hamlet. It was really good and many of them were really articulate and clever and very independent.

I loved the programme, great to see them at Blue Apple Theatre company.

GoggleBox

You watch other people watching TV.

I don't watch much tv, that program sounds awful.

I'd rather watch grass grow.

L;iz.........

I watched the production of Hamlet, performed by Downs Syndrome actors.
Was on my way to bed, but got drawn into it.

I was very impressed, not only by how well they acted out the 14 performances, but also by how well they handled personal, and sensitive issues in their private lives.
Although I did feel the camera was a little too intrusive at times.

Well done to the actors, and to the Blue Apple Theatre Co, who guided and encouraged them through their difficulties.

I watch the local news from 6 - 7 pm, followed by a brief look at a national news programme and another at BBC World News ............ the tv is turned off by about 7:15 pm

That's it!

I haven't watched a tv show at home in at least 10 years.

When we're staying in hotels, we will sometimes turn on the TV at about 9 pm and see if we can find a documentary that is interesting.
