Little update from Conker the miniature Shetland!

He has made an amazing recovery and appears to be 100 percent recovered from his impaction!

He continues to leave several huge daily dumps fuelled by copious amounts of paraffin oil. My OH who has lovingly cared for them the last 21 years is now not very popular, all thoughts of bowls of Happy Ho*f , carrots and hay quickly forgotten after all those litres of oily stuff syringed down his poor throat. He takes one look at him and runs for his life, I'm not too popular either now being seen as an accomplice. Shall be making attempts to win back his affections <3

It's wonderful to see him looking so well after sitting on the stable floor crying buckets!

Glad to hear Conker is doing well

It may take some time though for him to be pals again I would think . Maybe some treats from time to time will help him to think both of you really are his pals and not his doctors
