Your tree with a date of death. But when you update it with the death of your only child, it's heart breaking.

Yes Ann.......Alex passed away in January. He was only 21.

Suzy, I am so sorry to read this dreadful news and can only offer my heartfelt sympathy.

I remember when Carol B lost her boy, how devastated she was, and I know from experience how much you want to turn back time and change things, rather than accept what's happened. I know you will have wonderful memories of Alex and hope you are finding a little comfort in recalling special times spent together, and you will feel him around you when you are sad.

Alex's friends and colleagues have memorialised him by creating scholarships in his honour.

What a wonderful way to remember him.

I read about that, he was a very well liked young man and much respected, bless him. I have been thinking with great sadness about Suzy and all Alex's family and friends since I read the news earlier, and can only wish them strength to cope with such tragedy.
