Anyone else watch it? what a fabulous night's entertainment, with the added treat of Michael Flatley and Andrea Boccelli - wonderful :-D

GlitterBaby Report 31 May 2015 22:08

Best of the show tonight was Michael Flatley.

Very good entertainment, mostly very good acts in the finals. Sorry the choir didn't win though, maybe if they had sung more in English they would have done. Still Matisse was lovely.

I am very disappointed the magician did not win he was brilliant :-(

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 31 May 2015 22:34

he was brilliant and had he not been up against a dog he would have won - I'm sure his future is assured however - many people will have seen him

I thought the young boy Isaac Waddington was terrific - a little cocksure of himself but feel he has a great future too

the Welsh choir were brilliant but then I'm biased :-D

GlitterBaby

GlitterBaby Report 31 May 2015 22:40

Although I loved the dog act they are not going to be a future act for people to pay and watch but Raven the magician will do well out of his appearance on the show.

Loved Old Men Groovin

Anne I like Isaac as well, I think he has a future. Not keen on magicians but he was very good. And likeable as well.

Even though my GR friends called me a "Saddo" :-S ;-) ;-) :-D.....

.....I loved it!

In fact I have enjoyed the whole series.

I was always going to vote for Cor Glanaethwy<3 ...
....but I so loved the dog!<3

So I ended up voting for both!

And Michael Flatley's last TV performance as well. He's still amazing :-) :-) :-D :-D

Live Ann, I also loved Isaac. Also had a soft spot for The Neales.

I voted for Revelation Avenue for the Wild Card but sadly they didn't get it.

btw Smilers ....... You are forgiven! ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D <3 <3 <3

i was so hoping that the magician would win
the old men grooving was one of my favorites

all though i did love the dog act
but we have already had a dog act win

I think the Magician won hands down in my opinion and I hope he goes on to have a brilliant career. I'm afraid I am not keen on dog acts participating in this kind of show. If this upsets dog owners I apologise.

We were disappointed to see a dog act win again. We loved the choir and just hoped the £250,000 prize money would go back to Wales with them. The money would really have helped make a difference in their young lives.

The magician was amazing and the Neale family were very easy to listen to. A good night of family entertainment. Not at all impressed with the plunging necklines of Amanda and Alesha's dresses. Totally unsuitable for family-type viewing imho.

YG

YG Report 1 Jun 2015 17:52

I thought it was one of the best finals for quality of the acts.

Although I loved the dogs, we have had Pudsey and I don't see how she is going to progress that much with them.

I loved Isaac, the magician and the choir.

I must agree with kandj about the dresses. They are becoming all too commonplace now and I don't see the need to bare as much as that. Call me old fashioned if you like :-D

AnnCardiff

AnnCardiff Report 1 Jun 2015 17:59

was going to say the dresses were "over the top" but they were exactly the opposite :-D

It isn't bare flesh on show! If it was, Alesha's dress just wouldn't have stayed on.

What we see is specialist skin tone fabric, the same as used in skimpy dresses for skaters and dancers.
Shirley Bassey was using it decades ago.

I've just seen the headline in my newspaper.
Mattisse was played by two dogs.
The dog that walked the wire was a body double... a different dog called Chase !

The owner/trainer is defiant, claiming she had not intended to deceive the public

She should give the prize money back seeing as she was conning everyone.

on the other hand though, the organisers of BGT knew about it
