Afternoon All. Hope you are all safe, well and warm.

Terrible scenes on the news. I cannot imagine how it wold to be underwater. It seems to happen in one place or the other most years. Some areas cannot get home insurance I am led to believe because of the dangers.

Well I am dead chuffed, I managed to shuffle into a car, and got taken shopping. So I feel so much better now to know I have got my grub in for Christmas.

So no fry up for Christmas Dinner after all.

Lyn, it's lovely here now, went out in short sleeves to pick up the potted tree with OH. We've moved it to the side of the house. Yesterday it was not at all good though. :-S

Gonna get started on dinner soon. I am getting very good at supervising.

Coming over a bit black here, they have forecast rain for later. But nowhere near as bad as some poor souls.

I really feel for them.

Yesterday and the early hours of this morning were terrible but it is calm and quite mild today.
Just had a roast chicken salad with a baked potato and it was lovely and I am going to watch the Newcastle v Liverpool match at 4pm.

not too bad here - at least it's not raining and not too cold - been out to get a red cabbage and some cooking apples to make spiced red cabbage for Christmas lunch - we're having it on Boxing Day as daughter in law [nurse] is working Christmas Day - don't know what son [train driver] is working yet, so might be on my own for Christmas Day - doesn't bother me - been on my own before - just another day :-D :-D

had trouble finding a red cabbage - none in M & S and none in Morrisons, but got one in Lidl
