We're back from coffee and a quick walk around the shops - I always have to walk quickly when hubby accompanies me. Went into Lakeland for another jar of cherries in kirsch only to discover that they've been reduced. Don't you just hate it when you've already bought something (three jars) already at the normal price :-P :-(. If I had not already wrapped them, I'd have taken them back, got my refund then bought them at the reduced price. Grrrrrrr :-P

It's bright, sunny, but cold here - crisp underfoot in some places but lovely to walk out in. Main roads and bus routes appear to be fine but side roads are icy. The temperature has now risen to 2.5 *. It's warming up :-D :-D :-D :-S :-S :-S So, if anyone fancies a walk, Durham is the place to be today.

Fly, I hope you were ready to receive visitors! If I was not going out, I'd still have me jammies on at that time. - not that it would bother me but some people may have their sensibilities offended...... hard cheese!!!

So declared the box label of an early Christmas present received this morning from herself. It is well covered in expensive wrapping-paper accompanied by stern verbal instructions not to peep 'till Christmas morning.

So, whatever could it be? And how do the manufacturers know that I possess a comfortable home? There's nothing much wrong with my body as it sags over my trouser belt. Agreed, 'stunning' might be a tad too descriptive. :-) Total madness!
