JoyLouise Report 13 Dec 2015 17:30

Never panic, Mr M. Just get on with it. :-D

What did you delete and why?

Why do you have two screens? I use the iPad mostly but occasionally the laptop and if I am upstairs I tend to use the old computer - almost 16 now. :-)

If you don't mean two machines, why do you have two screens, unless you mean you use a split screen which I used regularly at work?

Enlighten me, please, Mr M. :-S

It was out of context with other posts Joy.....one of those "O sh1t" when you hit the enter :-S

Two screens is.on a computer when you make GR smaller showing just enough to read the posts.

Understand ?

Edit.....I suppose it would be a split screen.

I know I is, Mers, but that's how I learn weird and wonderful information :-D

Oh, now I get it, Mr M. I comprehend.

I thought you may have meant split screens. Now I see that you mean having two or more open, which we often did when I worked with computers between 1984 and 2004. Hubby still does things that way.

I rarely do nowadays - it's too much like work :-D

JoyLouise Report 13 Dec 2015 18:11

Gawd, you've brought back memories of when we got the first computers at work in 1984.

The mainframe was in an office where you went through a normal door and faced a glass wall from ground to ceiling with a glass door through which no one was allowed to enter. The computer guy saw you and came out of the 'temperature- and dust-controlled glasshouse' to see what you wanted.

Anyone else remember that? :-S

Mersey

Mersey Report 13 Dec 2015 18:21
