I agree, Bob and MotownGal, but Aiden Turner is the best whoever he is (Lombard I think) in a towel ever!! :-D :-0 :-S

Joan Hickson was the one and only

struth - that ending was a mega surprise to me - I read the book yonks ago and couldn't remember a thing about it - very atmospheric, scary

that Aiden Turner is being heralded at the next James Bond

Mmmm - If that happens, I may watch it!!
BUT, I would like a non-misogynistic Bond, with a respect for women......

......but Aiden would do......

No idea who Aiden Turner is - so will google him

i have to admit - i got half way through episode 1 & thought what a load of old rubbish - even with such good actors in it.

Then they killed off the best female actress in the show & leave the other two - who didn't seem to know what to do or where to do it - let alone act their way out of a paper bag (MY OPINION ONLY)

Well it was a big let down - i was so looking forward to watching it too with lovely Sam Neill & Charles Dance in it - I was really expecting big things from the BBC

Oh well - lets see what next year brings

well Charles Dance MUST be good at playing dead.......or the other suspects useless...........all that make-up, and movement, and they never realised he was play acting.........
