Edited: WINDOWS 10 ~ Free Upgrade period has expired?

Who's enjoying it and who isn't? and who's decided not to bother?




I still haven't! I like my Windows 7.... but if I don't Upgrade what will happen? :-S :-S

I like Windows 10, but we upgraded from XP (which we liked) to Windows 8.1 (which we did not like at all) so we found Windows 10 a great improvement.

I'm no expert, but I think I read that Windows 7 will be OK for some time yet.

Ive been on Win10 for moths. Was happy with Win7.
I upgraded to Win 7 from WinXP a program I liked.
If I get billed I'm going back to Win7

I was very dubious about downloading Windows 10.

I thought I would wait until the last minute to decide and give time for Windows 10 to iron out all the creases.

Much to my dismay, Windows 10 downloaded automatically a couple of months ago......and I have to say, I am quite surprised as all is running smoothly and everything is fine!

My Avast Free Antivirus automatically updated last week. It's never done that before.
It also installed a new Avast Advert-free Browser called Avast SafeZone Browser.
I've not tried it ... I'm too nervous of viruses lol :-D :-D :-D

Jem I have Widows 10 on my laptop and everything is fine, although it has taken me a while to get used to it.

I still have Windows 7 on my PC, but as I will be ditching the computer soon, I've not bothered downloading 10 onto it.

My intention with the PC is to remove and destroy the hard dive and then give the PC to my son to rebuild.

We did have to buy a new printer recently as I had a problem scanning with windows 10, but that was more a problem with the age of the printer and driver.

My printer is attached to Grandson 1's old PC, which is a Vista Home Premium. I know there are going to problems with that.

It has been absolutely fine on my laptop. The only thing I had to do was update the driver for my printer, but that wasn't a problem as the printer was fairly new
