	Banks have miniscule amounts of cash nearly all their assets are debt of various quality from gilts through to mortgages and dodgy car loans. When you open a current account and credit the account you are lending the bank money although you may not see it that way. When a bank defaults you find out. I guess you flunked Economics 101 as you seem not to understand Eldrick's succint posts. Btw "cash" is just government debt otherwise known as scrip. Read a banknote some time. If Mayhem & Co screw up brexit negotiation you might get a practical lesson in the difference between scrip and real money such as gold sovereigns.
