I loved it and was quite saddened when he passed away - I understand he fell out with his family in later years and never had the opportunity to make up

2 Volkswagon Beetles one reg'd 1956 bought it 1960 in Germany didn't have a petrol gauge when engine spluttered you had to move a lever with your foot and you then went on to the reserve tank - about a gallon. 2nd was 1972 vintage. 1937 Morris bought it 1965 for a tenner and Insurance cost me £13! . Sunbeam Talbot convertible - had to start it using the starting handle as even with a new battery it rarely started using the electric starter. Old Daimler mmmm all that room in the back!. 1960s Mini. 1960s Hillman Minx. A big 1960s Fiat looked like an Austin Cambridge. 1972 Vauxhall Viva - from new but everything went wrong with it. a 1970 Austin Cambridge. 1960s Fiat 500cc van 1970 Citreon G Sports - or summat like that. 1982 Ford Fiesta. Mid 80s Fiesta. 1991 205 diesel. 1997 KIA Pride. Current 02 Yaris. Think thats it. Ron Oh and pre cars 3 motor bikes a 175cc BSA Bantam Super (1958), An AJS Sports 250 cc single and a Royal Enfield Constellation 700c power galore! Oh dear I forgot to add the old round shape Austin Cambridge 1960s vintage I bought in Bahrein in 1968 also forgot to mention I had an old Morris (?) Marina sometime in the 70s - a load of scrap iron really

My brother had a Lanchester which wouldn't go in reverse. He used to drive into a pen to turn it round. He took my mum and dad for a short spin one Sunday afternoon and Mum was dressed in her slippers and pinny having just washed the dinner plates. The car broke down and they had to come back on the bus. What a laugh that was.

Austin Sheerline, Jaguar Mk 2, Austin Camvridge and a Morris Minor. Always knocked the indicators of that when you got out the door. Preferred the motor bikes though. Ariel Square Four with jampot suspension and an Indian Chief with a bucket seat.
