Well Done TJ The longest I have is 8 weeks don't smoke as much as i used to but living with a chain smoker doesn't help at all. Keep it up Germaine x

I gave up on New Year so it 8 1/2 months for still fancy a ciggy now and then but have not give in. So keep it going it does get easier. Margaret x

Well done to you. It can't be easy. Never been a smoker but I think it must be really hard to stop. My addiction is chocolate.

So pleased for you TJ. Don't lose the will to give up, no matter what happens. I gave up in 1974, but can still be tempted. You just have to push it away to the back of your mind. You smell better, taste better, house is cleaner and your health is definately better. E mail me if things get really rough. I'm sure others would say the same. Without the weed Lynda x

had to update you all to let you know i'm still on the nic-o-tines wrong side - i've definitely fell out with him now. Hubby can now only smoke in one allocated room - i'm busy washing everything washable - can smel stale smoke - yuk - me no like - sound like a spoilt child don't i - no i'm just chuffed as little green apples. Hi TJ, I think its great you have managed to do without a cigarette for this length of time. I am a very heavy smoker, wish I could stop, have Asthma and COPD and I still can't stop. I have tried everything going, you name it I have tried it but I must say your doing well girl!!!! Betty

Oh Betty Boo and Stennozzz ----- Good luck to you both ...... been ..........108 hours now for me -- always count at 9 am or 9pm as it was 9pm when I had my last ciggie on Sunday night ...was doing nearly fourty a day. Now doing none !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My support for you guys is here just like yours was and is for me ...... WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER !!!!!!!!!!

tonight will be the tester - going out tonight with hubby - although i don't drink (promise) - what's that I hear you say - no drink , no fags - miss goodie two shoes - oh no i'm not - I just don't like alcohol - i prefer cordial or a coke and I can have a hang over on coke. Will let you know monday - how i went on - i've done it before - i can do it again. I won't have a ciggie promise. But i will tell you the truth.......... Love TJ xxxxxx

NO batman - i didn't i promise - not one - had urge but didn't succumb - it wasn't easy as every body around me was smoking - but then i just thought back to last monday morning when i couldn't get my breath and that was it !!!!!!!
