Dee the Bibliomaniac Report 4 Oct 2006 07:15

Plenty of time to worry about that diet If you stop drinking Ron’s wine there’ll be a riot Quickly I pop in to add some verse (Chrispy I’m sure my house is worse) Really hate that housework word, I do Wish I didn’t have to do it, and that is true

So hows things on here? Is there lots happening - and drunk lots of beer? Tis more likely that it's been loadsa wine thing is I haven't had a glass - so where's mine? Unhappy I was that I was unable to add all sorts of reasons - not all of them bad Very happy to be back again though to add to this thread and say ''Hello''!

Dee the Bibliomaniac Report 4 Oct 2006 17:43

Well Dorothy, it's good to see you back (did you remember to pack your mac??) Xtremely black clouds building up here a storm is brewing or so I fear You never know when it is going to rain and the washing gets wet, it's such a pain Zapped the last letter so you can't complain and we are back to the letter A again

And I will add my 'welcome back' to Dorothy G. And a thank you for your comfort Dee. But my son is building PCs onthe dining room floor And in the 'playroom' he has some more! Computer parts are all over the table And I try not to trip over the reels of cable. Do you think he listens when I say 'enoughs enough'? He just comes home with lots more stuff!! Every day he waits for the post to arrive for disks and crimpers and a new hard drive. Feel as though I am living in a scrap yard. At times it really does seem hard!!!!!

DorothyG Report 6 Oct 2006 21:03

So happy am I that you welcomed me back certainly my life something it did lack To Lorraine I say 'hello' How are you To everyone else 'good to see you' Unless I'm mistaken there are only still a select few who have the will to rhyme Very superior we must be Just you, you, you and you - and me! We are the Poets who are like chums spreading our happy dust like welcome crumbs Xpect you've heard - it's Poets Week right now Do you think we'd get credit - hmm doubt it somehow! Zealously writing rhymes each day I think we should each receive a bouquet!

**chrispy** Report 6 Oct 2006 21:28

A warm welcome to Tara and Lorraine And how nice to see Dorothy again. Bet our rhymes would make the news For I always love reading all your views Collect all our poems for National Poetry week Is it fame and fortune we seek? Do you think we could appear on TV Reciting our poems led by Dee? Ever fanciful , its me again. Do you think I may be slightly insane?

Hi to everyone, the weekend's here and Christmas time gets ever near I think that we should all be on TV but Chrispy, please, don't rely on me Just think I would have a panic attack cos confidence is something I lack Keep the poems coming one and all hope Ron will soon pay us a call Lots of good wishes are coming your way I'm off to college now, I've had my say

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 7 Oct 2006 13:06

My goodness how busy you are Dee dashing about like a Busy Bee Now, Poets week is missing out on us that's a shame isn't it? Cos we're A1 plus Our rhymes are good, but how would we fare if the TV invited us to take part there? Perhaps we'd shine and amaze everyone on how clever we are - hit the headlines in The Sun Questions we'd be asked - celebrities we'd become maybe be asked to be in Big Brother just for fun! Really don't fancy that myself eating mealy worms - bad for the health! So, perhaps we'd better just keep quiet I'll do without that thankyou - in my ways I am set Tasting weird food is not for me I'll stick to choccy cake and a nice cup of tea Unless of course there's some Red Wine about then I'd take a glass of that there's no doubt!
