It's not the same as stealing though is it Daniel? I wouldn't turn a blind eye no, but I just can't see how it effects people. Surely it does no harm to help them?

Well Marie, if thats the case, maybe others cant go without other things to provide themselves with membership.

I can't convince you on this, but my reason and my view is held by a number of people on here and that is why they have the word member written in capitals. I can say no more.

They should work harder like I had to. I don't believe that nine pounds cannot be found, there are pensioners on here living on the bread line and they still have the pride and decency to pay their way.

then there are plenty of other places they can go and request look-ups for free.

Sorry Marie, but thats a bit of a daft thing to say! You don't know an individuals circumstances, and so you can't expect them to 'work harder'. Anyways, will pick up on this later, now going out.

Paul You were quick enough to have an uninformed opinion on my circumstances !!!!!!!!! I maintain that if pensioners can pay. Anyone can. I couldn't give a monkeys if you think my opinion is daft. It is my opinion and as a paying member I have every right to express it. xx

I,m a pensioner & I,m very into my family research.I.,VE PAID my dues & I,m not impressed with people wanting help for NOTHING.we could all get others to do our searching for us & spend THIER money doing so. Shirley

I wonder how many people who abuse the success board (the non paying ones like the ones today) smoke, drink, buy magazines, cans of pop on a regular basis and other non essential items. Save a couple of quid a week on some of these things and youve got your membership money Anyone serious enough will do this. Anyone would think its almost a tenner a week they have to pay....not a year. Elaine x

PAY OR DON'T DISPLAY! I work 2 jobs (6 days a week) to afford 'luxuries' such as my subs to GR and I wouldn't expect any help if I wasn't a full member.

Sandra I will pull you up on that. Paul is entitled to his opinion and whether he is new, old or whatever is besides teh point. I personally cannot see how he arrives at his conclusion but I respect his right to say, however odd I find it.
